Omegaverse Dear Creator letter

- Canon personalities regardless of designation/secondary sex/secondary gender
- Omegaverse that's as close to canon as possible
- Worldbuilding of how society would be different. Omegaverse that could plausibly produce a functional society is my jam!
- Any/all combinations of primary and secondary sex in pairings (I especially love alpha/alpha and f!alpha/m!omega)
- Mates being actively chosen / bonding being discussed in advance
- Heats being on the less extreme end (a few days of being extra horny and wet and desperate is fine, but not a ten-day-long constant sex marathon with buckets of slick and no agency).
- Scent-based social bonding, including with platonic friends, and heightened senses of smell.
- Pregnant sex, pregnancy/ post-pregnancy fic. New baby snuggles especially!
- OK with graphic detail for both pregnancy and birth, and with male lactation.
I usually like a setup where omegas can only carry children and alphas can only sire them (but also fine with it being technically possible if less likely for male omegas to sire and female alphas to become pregnant)
Anatomy wise, I'm fine with either male omegas and female alphas being fully intersex with both sets of genitalia, or with them looking outwardly exactly like rl men/women with all the anatomical differences being internal (e.g. sheathed dicks for female alphas, or seahorse-like setups where female alphas still get penetrated but the transfer of gametes goes from them into a male omega). I'd probably expect the social dynamics to differ between these cases, if secondary sex isn't known until puberty vs if it's known from birth.
DNWs:
- Mean vibes from male alphas. assertiveness is totally fine, just no demeaning/degrading of the omega half of the pairing please
- Omegas having no rights or being extremely discriminated against, extreme levels of sexism against them, or societal-level reproductive coercion or control
- Mating bonds having any magical properties or being unbreakable, 'true/fated mates'
- 'Alpha voice' that can force omegas to obey
- Calling each other 'Alpha' and 'Omega' as titles (referring to someone as eg 'my omega' is fine).
- The idea of an 'Inner alpha/omega' that's like a separate entity (fine with the phrasing 'inner alpha' as a purely rhetorical device in the way you might use 'inner perfectionist' etc)
- Animal terminology like 'pup', 'litter', or animal traits/physiology beyond heightened sense of smell (no retractable fangs etc).
- Male omegas having boobs (though slight increase in breast tissue when pregnant/breastfeeding is fine)
- Any omegas having periods
This one isn't a full-on DNW, but I'm generally lukewarm on betas. I'm fine with them existing, I'm up for interesting ideas you might have about their role, but don't feel obliged to include them if you don't want to!
